NIGHT PRAYER

Fear thou not; forI am with thee:

be not dismayed; for I am thy God:

I will strengthen thee; yea, I will

help thee; yea, I will uphold thee

with the right hand of my

righteousness. Behold, all they that

were incensed against thee shall be

ashamed and confounded: they

shall be as nothing; and they that

strive with thee shall perish.

From: Isaiah 41:10-11


INSPIRATION

The promise God gives His people

here is extremely powerful and

incredibly encouraging. If we

apply this promise to our own

lives, we can take heart. God has

our back! No matter what our

enemies have in store for us (and

believe it: if you serve the cause of

Christ, you do have enemies!) God

has it covered. He tells us not to

fear or be anxious because He

holds us in his "righteous right

hand." We are protected by His

power and His might. Not only will

He protect us, but He will punish

those who come against us. They

will be "'shamed" and "dishonored"

and will eventually perish. They

will come looking to fight us, but

they will not find us because God

has taken care of the matter. How

can we not serve such an awesome

and mighty God?


PRAYER

Lord, You are my strong tower and

my defender. You have been

faithful to vindicate me against all

who come against me. I have seen

those who sought to destroy me

"'shamed" and "dishonored" so I

know that You keep Your

promises. I can never fully thank

You for protecting and keeping

me. You have held me in Your

righteous right hand and kept me

safe. I will serve You all the days of

my life. Amen.

  NIGHT PRAYER Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. From: Romans 12:15 INSPIRATION There is a time and place for everything, and having the emotional intelligence to understand when and how to act is important. Empathy is an important and learned attribute, one that nobody displayed more than Jesus Christ. Observe the people around you and be in touch with their emotions so that you know when and how to act at the appropriate times. PRAYER All-knowing God, give me the vision to understand the audiences and settings that I am in, so that I may behave appropriately. Help me to empathize and understand the feelings of others, so that I can assist those that need it. I ask that You compel me to help other people mnore than before, for I have kept quiet too often when I should have spoken up. Let me use this new courage only for good, and please prevent me from ever causing harm. I pledge this in service to You, O Lord. Amen.

  NIGHT PRAYER Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. From: Hebrews 7:25 INSPIRATION Jesus' time on earth was a learning experience for all sides. Although God created everything, he had never experienced life as a mortal man. Knowing what He could gain from this experience, God sent his only son to us so that we could better understand Him. Trust in Jesus and be saved completely! PRAYER Precious God, You knew your son Jesus would die for us. We are sinners, and You chose to help us live a life that is more holy through the sacrifice of Your only begotten son. Forgive us for trespassing against You in the first place, O Lord! Today I pray that I may dutifully fulfill my obligation to You, by living in a godly and respectful way, carrying out Your commandments. I love You, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and all people as You have taught me. Thank you for loving me. Amen.
